My name is Taylor Price.
I am 30 years old and was born and raised in North Texas, where I currently live with my husband and 3 children. I have a passion for serving the underprivileged, at-risk, and disadvantaged members of our society.
I found my life’s passion through my own tumultuous childhood. Both of my parents were federally incarcerated when I was 12 years old, resulting in the latter half of my childhood being unstable. As an adult, I began my journey volunteering as a CASA Advocate for local children who had been removed from their homes. After doing that for a short time the opportunity presented itself to start fostering, and eventually adopting children.
Along the way I gave birth to two of my own children. After closing my last adoption in May of 2021 I decided it was best if I focused on my family for awhile. I had advanced in my career as a Senior Sales Executive for a firm that helped business’ recover overpaid taxes. In early 2023 I was going through a major career change and had no idea what I wanted to do next.
After receiving a note with the Toys for Tots information on it, I reached out in hopes to apply for the position as coordinator. I currently serve as an LCO for Fannin and Grayson Counties. This is my first year working with the foundation and I know I have found my calling.
Our campaign has doubled in size in my 3 months as LCO. I am currently working on my Bachelor’s of Science in Correctional Services. My plan is to obtain a Law Degree and continue my passion in serving the community. I hope to work closely with the foundation to continue their efforts with the foster care initiative.
